Dear Friends of Jungle Friends,

We have been having some email troubles with our Monkey News email account. If you tried to contact us, please email us again, we have the problem resolved.

The Share Your Heart campaign is moving along slowly, but steadily. To date we have raised $5,260 of the $12,000 needed for the new digs for our existing spider monkeys and Molly and Mike, the two new spider monkeys that will join us as soon as we complete the habitats. A very special thanks to all of our faithful donors who are making this a reality!

Hats off to Claude at Specialty Fence for donating his labor, the chain link and for providing most of the heavy equipment. And to B & M Equipment Rental for providing the lift every weekend at no charge! Under Claude’s supervision, our Jungle Friends Team are getting the largest habitat to date constructed! We are calling the new spider monkey habitat the "Thunder Dome" and it is approximately 30’ x 60’ x 24’ high!

If you haven’t already done so, please send in your Share Your Heart donation today to help us complete the Thunder Dome!

A very special "thank you" to our staff, interns, volunteers and donors who are making this possible! If there is anyone out there who would like to come and help us build the Thunder Dome, please get in contact with me, we would welcome the help! Of course, your generous donations are always welcomed, appreciated and very much needed, please send a contribution as soon as possible!

Lots of monkey love,
Kari and the monks
