Dear Friends of Jungle Friends,

We nearly have all of the funds for the new spider monkey habitat, "Thunder Dome", but we are still lacking just under $2000 for the other indoor enclosures. Mike and Molly will come on out, since we have one indoor enclosure completed and the outdoor habitat, "Thunder Dome", is 'monkey ready'!

Once Mike and Molly are settled in, we will plan a get-together at the sanctuary for all of the donors who made it possible for them to join our Jungle Friends family. I understand that Mike and Molly are very outgoing and love company, so you will have the opportunity to meet them very soon. I am sure that the other spider monkeys, Goldie, Clydette, Udi, Lizzy and Travis, are ready to meet them too, the more the merrier!

As most of you know, we do not have a reliable vehicle that can make the journey to pick up Mike and Molly in South Florida. We had a van scheduled last weekend and another again for today, but neither worked out so we are waiting to hear from several rental companies near and around the Gainesville area. We hope to bring Mike and Molly to their new home at Jungle Friends this weekend.

We have a vehicle fund with $3000 in the fund, if you can donate to that fund for a new Jungle Friends vehicle, we would sure appreciate it! Or if you have a reliable vehicle that you would like to donate, that would be really great! We are looking for a van or SUV so that we can pick up monkeys when needed and transport the monkeys to and from the vet.
