Bailey is the most monkey-like primate we have here at Jungle Friends. He was born on May 23, 1998. He was fully raised by his mother, and is therefore more timid of humans, as it should be. Bailey is the sweetest little boy and is finally becoming more independent and adventurous. When frightened, by a thunderstorm or other loud commotion, he will still cling to his mother's back for safety.
He is getting a little big to still be doing this, which is wearing Bonnie out. If she tries to get him off, Bailey becomes very upset. He is such a mama's boy! Bailey loves to swing, so we provide him with many different ropes and toys that encourage this behavior. We are very excited to say that Bailey just made some new monkey friends. Buddie and Gizmo are Bailey's new playmates, and the three enjoy hours of wrestling, hugging, and roughhousing. Bailey looks forward to playtime with his friends and Bonnie looks forward to the break from her boisterous boy!
