BONNIE
 |
Bonnie arrived at Jungle Friends in the summer of 1995. Bonnie was apparently purchased as a pet and then sold to a breeder. When the breeder no longer had time to take care of her, the plan was for her to be sold at an exotic animal auction. Fortunately, that fate never came to pass!

Bonnie flirts with her favorite volunteers and shuns the rest. Bonnie was recently diagnosed with bone cancer. Her left thumb was amputated as a result of the diagnosis. We are hoping that the cancer has not spread, and so far she seems to be in good health. Bonnie is mother to Bailey who was born here at Jungle Friends as the result of a failed vasectomy. She has been a great mother to Bailey and they spend their days romping, playing and grooming each other. Bailey has his Mom acting like a young girl again!
