CHARLOTTE

Charlotte is the sweetest monkey you may ever run across! She was born in Las Vegas on October 11, 1993. Charlotte has never bitten anyone, yet! Charlotte interacts with most human primates with ease. She was raised by Kari and her older biological monkey sister, Samantha (a.k.a. Chainsaw). These two sisters have shared the same habitat for seven years. We have tried introducing them to other monks, but those other monks just chase them out and call them names. We are still working on socializing these girls with some of our other monks; and we hope that one day Sam and Charlotte will become more cordial! Charlottes' favorite toys are the activity centers, but Sam usually tears them apart before she gets them figured out. Her favorite past-times are grooming her sister, lounging on the big log swing, flirting with the neighboring monkeys and hunting for small prey (insects, lizards, birds!). Charlotte, despite her sweet nature, is a precision hunter: no lizard is safe!
