Clydette is a four-year-old spider monkey that found a home at Jungle Friends in September 1999 along with her "sister" Goldie when their human mom was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and could no longer care for them. Clydette is a truly beautiful spider monkey with a thick black coat. Most volunteers get a kick out of her "punky" hairdo. Since her arrival, Clydette has really come out of her shell.
Once a subordinate spider monkey to Goldie, Clydette now seems to enjoy instigating certain situations. She excitedly welcomes breakfast time and treat time with her trademark "helicopter tail". The rest of her days are spent beautifully brachiating with the speed of light through her habitat-only to pause for naptime several times a day.y!
