CUDDLY
Cuddly is mad at the world. I can't say I blame her, she was born to be wild and live in the rain forest, now she finds herself doomed to live life in a cage. Cuddly is Samantha and Charlotte's biological mother. She came to Jungle Friends in 1995 she was headed to an exotic animal auction, and we couldn't let that happen! In fact, her name at the time was "Ugly", a name chosen by a previous "owner" in poor taste.

As soon as she came to Jungle Friends, she was renamed Cuddly by Susan Schneider, the Vice President of Jungle Friends. Primates are social creatures by nature and need to interact with their own species. However monkeys, like people, have personality clashes. Hopes of introducing Cuddly with her daughters, Samantha and Charlotte, did not work out. However, after a gradual introduction, Cuddly is getting along well with Clyde. These two older monkeys now live together and spend their time acting as the Jungle Friend's "watch-monkeys" - always on the lookout for something. Possibly they are simply staring outside, dreaming of being wild.
