Great American Meat Out
Special Volunteer Day

March 20, 2010

Tracey, our administrative assistant, welcomes our volunteers to The Great American Meat Out!

Some of the volunteers are lucky enough to help build our new habitat for two new monkeys arriving here the end of May. No time to waste!

Smile for the camera!

Lee showcases her best musical skills during one of her pole dancing routines.

Cutting support beams for the new habitat.

Picking up all the debris from the property, thanks guys!

Mary Ann has total control over the weeds!

Organizing the stockpile has never looked like so much fun.

Here are some of our volunteers making monkey enrichments.

Lots of dishes to be done... washing monkey biscuit bowls.

Chopping delicious fresh produce ...

...for the monkey diets.

Enough food for the next few days.

This group did a great job cleaning out our food storage areas.

A clean and tidy sanctuary is a happy sanctuary! :)

Brandy, working like a trooper!

Claude prepared a great vegan lunch with the help of his volunteer assistant.

Shannon fixes the riding mower, just in time for cutting the grass.

A lovely vegan lunch, sponsored by A Well-Fed World.

Our busy volunteers deserve this delicious refreshment!

And our caregivers and interns do so, too!
