Animal Rights Conference

Kari will again be speaking at the Animal Rights 2010 National Conference, the world's largest and longest-running animal rights gathering. The Conference will take place on July 15-19th at the Hilton Alexandria Mark Center Hotel, one of the national capital area's outstanding conference venues, located just five miles south of the DC line.

World Animal Day

World Animal Day was started in 1931 at a convention of ecologists in Florence as a way of highlighting the plight of endangered species. Since then it has grown to encompass all kinds of animal life and is widely celebrated in countries throughout the world. October 4 was chosen as World Animal Day as it is the Feast Day of St Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals. Celebrate World Animal Day with us at Jungle Friends...
