4 More Cotton-Top Tamarins Retired from Research!On May 20, 2017, four Cotton-Top Tamarins retired to Jungle Friends from Laboratory Research. Diego, Itchy, Wren and Yodel will live out the rest of their lives here in their "Almost Wild" habitats.Until their retirement, Deigo, Itchy, Wren and Yodel never saw the sunlight or felt the wind on their faces. All four of these tamarins were shy at first to their new outdoor life but over time all have adjusted well to life at Jungle Friends. Each of them can often be found hanging out on their favorite perches watching their neighbors. |
