Volunteer shifts are from 7 - 11, 11 - 3 and 3 - 7 every day of the week and we would love to have you come out as soon as possible and get started, we have over 300 monkeys for you to meet! As an Entry Level Volunteer, you will be shadowing one of our carestaff in many areas. As you accrue more hours, you will be moved up to higher levels of responsibilities.
7-11 shift: Diet preparation and distribution, as well as clean up. Or cleaning, repairing and landscaping in and around the monkey’s habitats. We also have special enrichment and building projects.
11-3 shift: Cleaning, repairing and landscaping in and around the monkey’s habitats, as well as special projects. On Wednesdays and Saturdays we chop produce for the monkey’s diets during this shift.
3-7 shift: Cleaning, repairing and landscaping in and around the monkey’s habitats, as well as special projects. This is also our ‘closing shift’, which will involve cleaning all areas around the sanctuary, as well as preparing for the next morning’s activities.
You must sign up on our Online Volunteer Signup to be eligible to volunteer. After completing our online application please schedule your day and time on our volunteer manager Signup.
