Kids Can Help!

There's lots of things you can do to help Jungle Friends and the monkeys. Here are some suggestions, and you may come up with some great ideas of your own. Whatever you decide to do, be sure to take lots of pictures and let us know how you helped the Jungle Friends monkeys. Email us at info@junglefriends.org. You could be the next in our monkey lover Hall of Fame!

Organize a Monkey Toy Drive or Food Drive

Help us keep the monkeys eating well and having fun by collecting food or used toys for the monkeys. Get your friends and family involved. Talk to your teacher or principal: maybe your whole school would like to help with the drive! Click here to learn what toys are right for monkeys and what the monkeys can eat.

Start a Fundraising Campaign... or a Competition

Get your class, club or other group to raise money for the monkeys. Whether you choose to sell something, have a bake sale or garage sale, or do something like washing cars or mowing lawns, you can have a great time working for a good cause. Better still -- challenge another class or group to a fundraising competition! Get a local sponsor to offer a prize, such as a pizza party or movie passes, and see who can bring in more donations. Let your local paper know what you're doing, too. Maybe you'll be a star in your hometown newspaper as well as on our website!

Throw a Monkey Party

Phoebe threw a monkey party for her 10th birthday.

For your next birthday (or for any occasion), make your party a monkey-themed fundraiser for Jungle Friends. Ask for donations instead of gifts, or charge "admission" or pass the hat for the Jungle Friends monkeys.

Do you have great party ideas? Help us create a monkey party kit to share with other kids! Share your ideas for party games, activities, decorations and refreshments with a monkey theme. Email us at info@junglefriends.org

Sponsor-A-Monkey

How do we take care of all these monkeys? With the help of good people like you! A monkey sponsorship is a promise to make a donation every month for at least a year. You can sponsor a monkey for $10 a month up to $100 a month. The money you give helps to pay for your monkey's care. Sponsoring a monkey makes you feel great... and you also get a framed certificate with your name on it, and monkey art fingerpainted by one of the Jungle Friends monkeys.

You can meet all our monkeys and learn more about the Sponsor-A-Monkey Program on the main Jungle Friends website. Click the monkey pictures below to get started...

Search for the monkeys... web search, that is!

When you are searching the internet for school projects or just for fun, use  GoodSearch (www.GoodSearch.com) or  iSearchiGive (www.iSearch.iGive.com). Pick Jungle Friends Primate Sanctuary as your charity, and Jungle Friends will get a penny for every search you do. When lots of people do this, it can really add up. Wow! Money for the monkeys just for using the internet!

Tell everyone you know!

If you love monkeys and think Jungle Friends is doing a great job helping them, tell everyone! Let other people know that you support Jungle Friends and why -- and ask them to support the monkeys, too. Tell them to go to www.JungleFriends.org to learn more, and to make a donation. The more people who help us, the more monkeys we can help. So spread the word!
