Laboratory Monkey Retirement Fund

Over the past several months, Jungle Friends has been asked to help retire over 100 monkeys from various research laboratories either by providing them a home here at Jungle Friends or helping to locate other legitimate placements. We have more monkeys on our waiting list than we have at the sanctuary!

These monkeys will not be replaced in the lab and some of the universities have told me that they are getting out of the 'monkey business'! We are extremely happy with this trend of retiring laboratory monkeys, but we need your help! We need more money and more sanctuaries! Please help us continue to offer a safe haven to laboratory monkeys who have had so little. Donate to our Laboratory Monkey Retirement Fund today.

We also offer an intern program designed to help other caring people create primate sanctuaries. If you are interested in starting a sanctuary, we will help you do it!

Meet our retired lab monkeys.
Jungle Friends currently has 9 squirrel monkeys, 9 capuchins and 8 marmosets who have been retired from laboratory research.
