LULU

LuLu enjoying her Jungle Friends' home!Lulu is a white-faced capuchin that came to Jungle Friends on September 9, 2004 when she was six years old. The authorities confiscated Lulu when they learned that she was being kept illegally. She is now considered “states evidence”. When Lulu arrived at Jungle Friends she was frightened and unsure of her new surroundings, not understanding what had happened to her or where she was. We plan to socialize Lulu just as soon as she is released to Jungle Friends. Lulu’s ex-‘owner’ realizes that Lulu needs to be with monkey companions and will come and visit Lulu in her new home once she has been successfully socialized into a troop.

Fortunately, Lulu has adjusted very well to life at Jungle Friends. Lulu loves racing through the runways and watching the other monkeys in nearby habitats playing. Lulu’s favorite pastime is bouncing in her hammock.

If you are looking for a monkey to sponsor, may I suggest Little Lulu?
