Dear Friends of Precious,
I am terribly saddened and sorry to report that Precious left us last night about 10 PM. We do not know how this all came about, she was fine, then she was not. They suspect an auto-immune disease or cancer. We are having a necropsy done to find out all that we can.  We are all still in shock and Shelley is beside herself with grief.
Thank you all for your caring compassion for Precious. She was a friend and a dear soul. I am glad that she had the chance to make monkey friends and to do monkey things before she left this life for the next. Precious made wonderful monkey friendships during the past four months here at Jungle Friends. She had a real pal in Tyler, she slept with Buddie most of the time and of course, Cody was her first monkey friend. Precious' last time spent at Jungle Friends was with Connie grooming and caring for her. I believe that Connie knew that Precious was ill and wanted to make her feel better. It has been a sad Christmas for us. Precious will be missed by all who knew her.
