Cosmo is a capuchin monkey who arrived on May 14th, bringing his human along to help settle him in. It was a tearful goodbye, especially since Cosmo had lived with the same human for over 14 years, but as is usual, life gets in the way. Monkeys really need to be with other monkeys; humans are a poor substitute for a companion of the same species.
Cosmo is incredibly good natured and a bit shy. We situated him right behind the farmhouse so that Kari can check on him first thing in the morning and again in the evening; Cosmo is always on the lookout for her; he knows she always brings him a special treat.
We've opened up a runway leading to another habitat so that Cosmo can stroll over to check out some of the other monkey residents. He seems interested in George and Jill. We're hopeful that Cosmo will soon be making some new monkey friends.
