Gizmo

0 Gizmo was almost seven years old when he arrived at Jungle Friends on November 21, 2007 along with four other marmosets named Arnold, Ernie, Marvin and Tuque. These boys were originally purchased by a research laboratory for iron toxicity studies; however, the lab found that marmosets were not good models for this study. Another investigator then wanted to 'use' them in schizophrenia studies! These boys narrowly escaped that fate. Fortunately for them, they were allowed to leave the lab and begin a new life at Jungle Friends.

0 Gizmo lives with Arnold and Ernie, and he is the most outgoing of the little troop. Gizmo was the first to venture out and explore his new home. He likes to keep track of what his new caregivers are doing at all times. Gizmo is always the first to the food bowl in the morning; he especially enjoys munching on his dry cereal.
