Jill is a brown capuchin who arrived at Jungle Friends on December 28, 2005. Her exact age is unknown; she is an adult, but not elderly. She had evidently escaped her cage and was found running loose in Kentucky, where ‘pet’ monkeys are illegal, which is probably why she was not claimed. Jill is a shy monkey who appears to be in good health, except that someone had most of her teeth extracted!
Jill is now living comfortably within a group of tufted capuchins. Kabooki was the first to introduce himself to Jill and she responded to his good will with considerate grooming. Often you will find Jill being groomed or grooming Buddie or Connie. These three girls are quite the trio. Jill is very sweet and loving and is fitting in with the other monkeys very well.
