Michael

0 Michael was four years old when he arrived at Jungle Friends on November 21, 2007 along with three other squirrel monkeys named Earl, Joey and Ringo. These boys were bred and sold into research for cocaine studies; fortunately, the study was cancelled before they were 'used' and they narrowly escaped being sold to another laboratory!

0 Michael and Ringo are paired together and are great friends. These boys are very active, always jumping around and bouncing on their perches. Michael and Ringo are the first to greet the carestaff in the morning with their exhilarated calls. You can hear their chatter throughout the sanctuary when a new and exciting food is discovered! Michael and Ringo are champion eaters; Michael is always the first to his food bowl, but Ringo is right behind him, pushing his way in to see if the menu includes spaghetti -- one of his favorite foods.
