Aunt Gizmo

Aunt Gizmo arrived at Jungle Friends when she was 30 years old. She was born at Wooster College in Ohio and was used in cognitive and behavioral research her entire life. Aunt Gizmo and her family friends Aunt Jake and Alex were able to retire to sunny Florida after the study ended.

Aunt Gizmo and Alex are both diabetic and receive medication and a special diet to control their disease. However, Aunt Gizmo will never say no to a special treat or an extra grape. Aunt Gizmo was the last of the Wooster monkeys to venture outside, but now we rarely find her inside, she seems to enjoy a more natural way of life.
