Bocefus arrived at Jungle Friends with seven other capuchins. These boys were used in iron-toxicity studies and spent years in a metal cage – all alone. This study is over and all of the monkeys are now in sanctuary retirement.

Bocefus is our largest male in the group, with a personality as big as his belly! He is very mischievous and loves to interact with his caregivers. As the Alpha male, he eagerly greets any visitors at the Bob Barker Clinic. Even though he was born in captivity, Bocefus is very curious with the outside world and spends much of his time looking out the window at the Florida trees. See more about the Ironmen here!
