Katie Scarlett arrived at Jungle Friends with her two sisters. Although Katie is blind, she quickly learned the ins and outs of her habitats. To help her find her way, ropes were placed at key points in the habitat, leading to the water fountain and exits to the runways. Katie Scarlett soon knew exactly where the openings were, and now navigates her habitats so well you would never guess she is blind. Katie Scarlett likes to rough house with her big sister. While they both pull and push each other around flashing their 'play faces'. Katie Scarlett's favorite game is to pull the tufts on top of Anna Claire's head as hard as she can. It looks painful, but Anna Claire endures it. Katie's other favorite game is to jump from the branches into the hammocks. She never seems to tire of the game. When playtime is over, the sisters snuggle up together for a good night’s sleep.
