Bonnie LV arrived with her best friend where both were being kept as 'pet' monkeys, but when they escaped their cage there were dire consequences. White-faced capuchins are very territorial and can be more aggressive than other capuchin monkey species. Bonnie and her friend attacked and terrorized a housekeeper, resulting in a lengthy hospital stay for the woman. A $100,000+ lawsuit later, the monkeys came to live at Jungle Friends. Like all monkeys, Bonnie is a wild animal, not meant to live in a human home. Despite the attack on the housekeeper, Bonnie has a very sweet disposition and she is devoted to her partner in crime. They love to play in the trees, swing from the ropes and chase each other, playing hide-and-seek in the lush foliage. Bonnie also enjoys foraging in the grass where she finds yummy tidbits.
