Mia

Mia was taken from her mother and sold as a pet when she was only 4 days old. She lived in Iowa for 21 years as part of the family. Mia’s guardian loved Mia very much and gave her the best home that he could, but came to the realization that he needed to find a permanent home for Mia where she could meet other monkeys and live out the rest of her life.  Jungle Friends was contacted and Mia now lives in sunny Florida with monkey friends. 

At first Mia was shy and cautious, but she is so smart, she learned the runway system on her very first day. Mia has adjusted very well, she enjoys exploring her habitat, tearing up anything she can get her hands on and throwing objects around her habitat and chatting with her monkey friends.
