Stinky

Stinky was stolen from her natural mother and sold into the exotic pet trade, then later placed in a zoological organization where she lived for 6 years. At the facility Stinky lived with a brown capuchin named Puchi. The organization closed their doors due to lack of funding, and needed to find a permanent sanctuary home for Stinky and Puchi. Both monkeys arrived together at Jungle Friends, but soon Stinky found more active monkey friends of her own species and of similar age. Puchi also found an elderly group of brown capuchins which was much more appropriate for his laid-back lifestyle. Stinky is one of the most active and playful monkeys at the sanctuary, always ready for a game of chase. She loves to be near the top of her habitat. You can usually find Stinky in one of the hanging buckets peaking over the top spying on the human caregivers or diligently foraging through the grass and bushes in search of special treats.
