Esmeralda

Esmeralda arrived at Jungle Friends with Raya, another female marmoset, from a research lab, where they were used in vocal cord research. Before coming to Jungle Friends, these monkeys had never known sunshine, their favorite pastime is basking in the sun.

Esmeralda is taking full advantage of her large outdoor habitat, where she enjoys climbing in the trees and watching the wildlife in the woods just outside her enclosure. Esmeralda also loves the varied diet she receives here at Jungle Friends, especially if her favorite foods, green beans, peanuts, and bananas, are on the menu!
