Gus came with 4 other squirrel monkeys from Yerkes National Primate Research Center at Emory University. We're so happy with this trend of universities retiring monkeys to sanctuary homes. Gus and his monkey friends have really taken to their new larger life at Jungle Friends and are enjoying the new sights, sounds and neighbors!

Gus is a silent, confident leader who loves to be outside. He has no fear of heights, but he still prefers to be on the ground foraging with his pals Einstein and Suki.
