Moby
Moby came to Jungle Friends with 25 other squirrels monkeys after Jane Goodall had written a letter urging FDA Commissioner Scott Gottleib to end the nictotine studies that Moby was a part of. This marked a huge milestone in history as the first time the FDA ever retired monkeys to a sanctuary, launching the trend of sanctuary retirement as an important step for research monkeys. Moby was the largest in his troop as a youngster. He likes to sit close to the action, prop up his feet and watch the world go by while munching on his biscuits. He is Mr. Neutral, never taking sides or getting involved in discussions or squabbles. His job is just to observe and he is very good at it. Moby would be a great witness if his pal Riot ever missed anything, but he likes to keep what he knows to himself. |
