Alanna
Alanna, is one of 33 cotton-top tamarins that was retired to Jungle Friends in April of 2015 after the lab where they had all lived shut their doors. While her new life here is very different than anything Alanna had experienced before, she's adjusted wonderfully! Alanna and her partner took very quickly to the outdoors, and were even one of the first pairs to make it to the end of their runway where only a single fork separated them from their lush outdoor habitat. Once that fork was pulled, it took Alanna no time at all to go into the habitat and explore! She spends much of her time on her outdoor platform watching the monkeys around her, though she's also a big eater!
