Captain Cuddles is one of 32 cotton-top tamarins that were brought to Jungle Friends after the lab where they’d previously lived closed its doors. Although a calcium deficiency has left Captain Cuddles with a bulldog-like stance that’s very unusual for a tamarin, he hasn’t let that slow him down! Captain Cuddles is easily the most curious and outgoing cotton-top at Jungle Friends! From day one, the Captain wanted to be a part of everything that was going on around him. While he didn’t take to the outdoors right away, Captain Cuddles has finally begun exploring his outdoor habitat and he’s been loving every second of it! He can often be found checking out the floor of his habitat, digging through the pine straw and checking his surroundings for bugs.
