Cotton-Top Tamarins (Saguinus oedipus)
- Gender: Male
- Birthday: May 26, 2005
- Arrival: April 22, 2015
- Background: Research
- Character: careful
Winthrop arrived at Jungle Friends with 32 other cotton-top tamarins after the lab where they’d lived their entire lives closed its doors. When Winthrop first arrived with his friend, Sailor, the caregivers had a little trouble telling them apart... they could almost be twins! Within days, however, their personalities shone through. Winthrop is cautious and a little more skittish than his partner, but also more adventurous! He lounges outside all day, catching some rays in the winter and grooming in the misters in the summer heat.
