Willy was purchased as a pet when he was just an infant along with Arie, a marmoset. Though the two are males of different species, they were housed together for several years. Unfortunately, they had spats that were escalating and the pair could no longer live together. When their guardian was arrested, Jungle Friends came to the rescue and provided these two boys with a happy home!

Housing two male monkeys together doesn’t always work, and although we tried to pair these two boys together at Jungle Friends, in the end Willy and Arie had to be separated again. Luckily, they still live right next to each other so Willy isn’t far from his first monkey friend! Willy is one of the most personable monkeys in Munchkinland, and he will greet most visitors with a curious look and lots of chattering. He’ll then scamper off to his outdoor habitat, where he loves to hang out in the bamboo and look for bugs!
