Ode to a New Habitat

October 2010

What? More capuchins, you say?!
And they will be arriving WHEN?
You think I'm a magician, she says with chagrin.

Lee and Tim realize there is no time to waste. New habitats are needed and indeed they make haste.

The team huddles together to develop a plan. There are monkeys in trouble and they need a hand!

Bamboo will be needed, we know this for sure. Bamboo is something that monkeys adore.

Keep digging girls! We'll need a lot more!

Phillip knows the bamboo will need water and the monkeys will too. So he pushes the shovel with his big muddy shoe!

The ditch has been dug and the pipes are all in. Lee wears a big hat to hide her devilish grin!

Runways will be needed?! What's that you say? Well give me a file and get outta my way!

The monkeys will be tired from such a long trip so Mimi finishes their bat cave with a 1, 2, 3 snip.

'Tis the night before arrival and all through the yard Kari drives every creature to really work hard.

Don't panic dear Kari, there's no need to fear. With Lee at the helm, new habitats you'll cheer!!

Habitats!! Hooray!!

Habitats!! Hooray!!

Habitats, habitats, Hip Hip Hooray!!

The habitats are ready for the new arrivals. Stay tuned for introductions and more stories of survival!!
