MONKEY CHEERS for our Race Car Heroes!

Willy Evernham

The 14-year-old nephew of the legendary Ray Evernham, Willy was the first in line to add the Jungle Friends decal to his car. He will be racing Saturdays in the Pro - 4 division at Hickory Motor Speedway, North Carolina. Read more below about how Willy and "Full House Racing" are helping Jungle Friends!

Chuck Hossfeld and his team in Buffalo, NY. Chuck, a contender in the NASCAR Featherlite Modified Series, added the JF decal to his car and will help spread the word through his website, www.chuckhossfeld.com

Freddy Dmuchowski, Jr. and Agin Signs and Designs

Freddy created our decal… and has added it to his own race car in New Jersey. And, our heartfelt thanks for their promotional support and donations go to…

"Full House Racing" to race for Udi and Jungle Friends

When Willy Evernham takes to the race track this summer, a family tradition will have come full circle. The Evernham name, of course, has been synonymous with championship motor sports because of Willy's legendary uncle, Ray Evernham.

Now Ray's 14-year-old nephew, Willy, is tearing up the paved race tracks, chasing the family need for speed.

Willy will be racing in the Pro - 4 division at Hickory Motor Speedway, located in North Carolina, on Saturday nights this summer.

The beautiful, bright red race car, modeled after Willy's uncle's famous #19 Dodge Intrepid, has added a new decal. Willy will be racing to get exposure for the Sponsor-A-Monkey program at Jungle Friends in Gainesville, Florida.

Willy is very excited to be helping in any way he can. And what better way to emphasize the connection between family values and auto racing than by putting the Jungle Friends logo on a vehicle that represents a family saga in the making!

Our friend, Carla Morte, is the one who inspired us to get involved. Carla and her friend Kelley Wohlfarth have been caring for a monkey named Udi. They took a week off from work to help at Jungle Friends. Although Udi still needs about $3000 to build a habitat to live in, Carla wants to assist the entire program. She has been updating our race team daily about the sanctuary. We are very impressed by what the staff is doing at Jungle Friends. Many of our sponsors are already working on getting supplies and equipment for the monkeys.

There are some very dedicated people doing hard work at Jungle Friends every day, and they don't have nearly enough financial support. We hope to get race teams from all over the country involved by putting a decal on all different types of race cars. "Full House Racing" is expecting the race fans to get involved by making on line donations. Race fans always seem to help out great causes.

Jungle Friends could also really use some volunteer groups to come to Gainesville and help with various projects… like building habitats for Udi and other monkeys in need.

Willy Evernham and "Full House Racing" are proud to be involved!
