Dear Friend of Jungle Friends,

Goober and Fio were two monkeys worlds apart…

Watch the video of Goober and Fio's first meeting
Goober was born in his native land and stolen from his home and family when he was just a youngster. Goober was sold into research where he spent nearly 20 years in a tiny squeeze cage - all alone.

Fiona was born in America only to be stolen from her mother’s arms and sold. Fio had her babies stolen from her year after year. Fortunately fate brought these two monkeys together at Jungle Friends Primate Sanctuary.

It was love at first sight for Fiona...she knew what she wanted and she wanted Goober!

Goober, who had never met a girl before, was a bit unsure of Fiona’s overtures. But Fio was determined to make her dreams come true! She persisted until Goober gave in to her romantic attentions and was very glad he did!

P.S. GREAT NEWS! And don't forget the Born to Be Wild Monkey Art Exhibit at the Hippodrome from September 20 - October 1. And remember, Monkey Art makes great gifts! Please join us for the festivities!
