V-Day, a huge success!

Dear Friend of Jungle Friends,

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday!

We sure did - all of the monkeys' vasectomies were verified and we are planning introductions! Sammy was first up for the procedure, so he is ready to meet Tiki and Pipperoo!

We plan to introduce the newly vasectomized boys to our lovely bachelorettes! We will keep you up-to-date on the 'love connections', so stay tuned!

We have some really great news for several of our diabetics! Connie, who has been on insulin for years was becoming insulin resistant and on 30 units of Lantus each day. Well, all of her blood tests show that she is doing super! Connie's HBA1C test shows that her diabetes is being managed very well, yippee!

Meko, who was on insulin, then switched to Glipizide, had low glucose and his HBA1C test was wonderful! Meko's tests were so good that we are weaning him off Glypizide!

We are so thankful to Dr. Martino and Lee Theisen-Watt for volunteering their time to help the Jungle Friends monkeys. You ladies are the BEST!!
