Atropos was born into laboratory research and lived at the research facility for 12 years. She and her best friend Clotho arrived at Jungle Friends after being retired from the research studies. Atropos is the smaller of the two ladies and does not have tuffs on the top of her head. When the girls were first released into their “Almost Wild” habitat they both went straight for the monkey bars (a favorite for most of the monkeys here at the sanctuary). The girls were shy around humans at first but were very interested in exploring their habitat.

Atropos is very smart and was quick to learn the runway system and where the food is located. She loves anything sweet, usually eating the fruit first from her diet. Atropos and Clotho have settled in very nicely here at Jungle Friends and can always be found moving about their habitat, never sitting still for long.
