Kooda was a "pet" for the first 15 years of her life, and came to Jungle Friends when her guardians could no longer care for her. Since she has metabolic bone disease due to a vitamin deficiency, we socialized her with other special needs monkeys, and she is flourishing! She spends her days caring for her companion Wendell, who is blind. Kooda grooms him, brings him food and snuggles with him in the evening.
