Sloth and his friend Don King were once surrounded by family and friends in their native home in Argentina. His natural life was ripped from him when he was stolen from his native home in Argentina. Sloth was sold into laboratory research and used in iron toxicity studies, where he and his friend spent many years. Sloth lived in a small cage, in a lab, and all alone. Although he could sometimes see others like himself nearby, he was unable to play or interact with any of them. Here at the sanctuary, he can feel the grass under his feet and the wind in his hair. Sloth gets to climb, play, jump, run, hoot and holler, and play with his best friend Don King. He is good-natured and enjoys digging in the dirt – everyone loves to watch Sloth and Don King play, but if you get too close, you will get a double threat!
