Mia and Poppy, were ex-pets and went through several homes. One of their “owners” removed all of their teeth. This is an unfortunately common practice in the hopes of preventing bites. Fortunately, being toothless hasn’t stopped Mia and Poppy from enjoying their yummy food at Jungle Friends, they are champion eaters, with little left in their bowls at the end of the day!

Poppy is the more adventurous monkey of the pair and is always the first to appear at the food bowl in the morning! When they arrived at Jungle Friends, they were released into a much bigger enclosure than what they were used to. The next morning, staff members were all excited to see him exploring his habitat and checking out their new toys. Poppy is a joy to be around and has adjusted well to life at Jungle Friends.
