Zira 2008 - 2016

Zira arrived at Jungle Friends in November of 2010, after 2 years as a pet. Her owner luckily realized that Zira deserved a better life; and brought her to Jungle Friends to meet other monkeys where she was paired with her life long friend. Zira had one of the biggest personalities of anybody in Munchkinland! Her single greatest passion was food! Her second greatest passion was treats! The second she thought you were giving her a treat, she’d scream as loud as she could and try to snatch it away from you. She was also very attentive and curious about the world around her, and could often be seen speeding through her runway to discover what her neighbors were up to. Zira passed away of unknown causes at the age of 8. She will be missed.
