Jethro was purchased as a pet when he was only 6 weeks old; along with a cotton-top tamarin we call Clementine. Jethro became more and more possessive over Clementine, until he began attacking people who got too close to her. The family decided it was time for the two of them to be moved to a more suitable home, and they contacted Jungle Friends.

While mixed-species pairs aren’t the norm at Jungle Friends, Jethro and Clementine are so happy together that they’ve been kept together as Munchkinland’s odd couple. Jethro has adjusted wonderfully to his new home, and he loves running through his runways to talk to his neighbors and check out anything his caregivers are doing. Jethro makes sure that everyone who comes near knows that Clementine is his partner, and he can often be seen making the ‘stink face’ at anyone who dares to get to close to her!
