Marlee

Marlee was originally purchased as a playmate for another ‘pet’ marmoset, thinking she would be the perfect companion for Marlee. What they did not know was that females are dominant in the marmoset world and two females don’t usually live together, in the wild they usually live in male-female pairs and small family groups. Since the two girls were not hitting it off, the guardian decided that the best thing for Marlee was for her to live at Jungle Friends, where she could find a more appropriate monkey friend.

Marlee spends a lot of her time outside, where she enjoys lying in the sun with her new monkey friend. Sometimes she can also be found in her favorite hammock at the top of her habitat, where she likes to hang her head over the side and watch the world go by.
