Raja was only ten months old when he arrived at Jungle Friends. He was being kept illegally as a ‘pet’ with a family that kept him in a tiny bird cage. He didn’t even have enough space to jump! Fortunately he was confiscated, and with the help of the Endangered Primate Foundation he was released to Jungle Friends.

Raja lives in a huge habitat where he can jump around as much as he wants. A very curious little monkey, he also enjoys watching and talking to other marmosets and his caregivers while they go about their day. He’s particularly fond of doing so while he hangs upside down from his favorite perch.
