Molly arrived at Jungle Friends with her brother, Mike. Molly is diabetic and was on medication when she arrived, her diabetes is now controlled completely by diet.

Molly and Mike were kept as 'pets' in South Florida. After the hurricane season in 2004, that tore up their cages more than once, the ‘owners’ decided that keeping monkeys was too problematic. The ‘owners’ called their vet and had both Mike and Molly scheduled to be euthanized! Jungle Friends was called by a concerned neighbor, Kari, our founder, called their vet and asked him not to kill the monkeys; she told him that Jungle Friends would accept both monkeys. The vet was very relieved that he would not have to kill two healthy monkeys.

Molly has a wonderful relationship with her brother; she and Mike are always looking out for one another, sharing their good treats and enjoying long grooming sessions.
