Pixel came to Jungle Friends after being retired from nicotine studies with 25 other squirrel monkeys. CNN reported their arrival with praise for all those who helped make history - this troop is the first to be retired from the FDA.

Pixel can be shy and anxious, but can also be very playful and strong willed. He's not afraid to voice his dislikes. A few of his least favorite things are surprises, anything purple, and people who won’t talk to him.
