Don is one of 66 cotton-top tamarins lucky enough to retire to Jungle Friends after the closure of a major primate research lab. Even luckier for Don, he was among the first group of 20 monkeys to join our Jungle Friends Family in Munchkinland!

Don is a shy monkey who tends to follow his partner’s lead; they are both enjoying their new home together. While he used to enjoy spending his time inside perched on top of his nest box, he’s finally warmed up to his outdoor habitat and can often be found sitting on a favorite branch while he watches the other monkeys around him. He’s also a huge fan of dried fruit, something he’s regularly offered in his diet.
