Elaine is one of 11 cotton-top tamarins that were brought to Jungle Friends after the lab where they had been housed closed its doors. Elaine didn’t take to the outdoors right away, but once she figured out how much fun there was to be had outside, there was no stopping her! She quickly developed a fascination with an object of abundance outside- leaves! All the branches that she could reach from her outdoor runway were quickly stripped bare by her and her partner, who have been having a great time picking them off the trees and bushes so that they can shred up the leaves. While she shreds her leaves, she also enjoys observing the monkey pairs living around her.
